The Contract
The Negotiations Committee is proud to present a contract that includes historic gains across all crafts at Nickelodeon.
The MOA is a brief, formal document written approved by both bargaining parties which explains the contract in laymen’s terms.

3 days Bereavement leave outside of existing PTO. (*first of its kind in TAG agreement history!)
Production wage increases, Pensions, and Healthcare.
New minimum rate standards for production workers that will give 72% of Production Assistants a raise in the first year.
Production “bridge” to production participation in the health and two pension plans through the Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plans (MPI).
Writers: Minimum staffing of two (2) non-supervisory writers for all new shows. (*first of it's kind)
Writers: reclassification of animation writers to match 2021 AMPTP occupational codes.
Board Driven Shows: 15% pay increase on Board Drive Shows for board artists and directors (*first of it's kind)
Production Board Classification 'fixed': Moving board artists from the 21-022 “Animation Story Person” classification to the higher paying minimum of Production Board (21-027).

Hybrid/Remote work language allowing the union to open discussion if remote/in-house changes.

Unreasonable/truncated schedule & deadline language: company must respect requests for OT/scheduel changes or Union may request meeting with Nick on your behalf.

CG Supervisors will be classified as Animation Directors, but with a 15% increase to their minimum to these supervisory roles.
Asset Finaler minimum rate increase to $32.50/hour.
The combination of the 2D and CG Agreements, and the first-time inclusion of Nickelodeon Production workers, all under one agreement.
